just back from china

sigh~~~!!! man, worked thru last weekend, so i've been working 12 days straight.... guess i shouldn't complain though since my collegues would be working through this weekend as well, and haven't had a weekend for 2 weeks..... so i guess working in architecture and working in china sucks in that sense.... too bad... i guess i was looking forward to working in china but so far i feel that my expectations were set a bit high.... part of it because i don't like shenzhen ("to be honest everytime i come here i can't wait to leave"), and then the job i have is ultra low pay (in US standards) and long workings hours (maybe also in US standards as well). but i guess i'm slightly better off than others that i have an apartment to myself, and it's very convenient for me to escape to hong kong........ maybe things would have been better if i worked in hong kong, ... the city, for the least, has more to do beyond shopping of cheap stuff (which is pretty much all there is to do in shenzhen)......

welp, i shall enjoy my weekend and recharge myself for yet another work week.... :P
