The Thomas Jefferson Memorial

The country's third president. He most famous for being the primary writer of the Declaration of Independence ("We hold these truths to be self evident: That all Men are created equal"). MOST IMPORTANTLY, he was one of the first signature architects of the United States, and designed many buildings in the University of Virgina and Monticello, his home.
