The Barcelona Pavilion, Barcelona, Spain
The Barcelona Pavilion, built in 1928 by German architect Mies van der Rohe, was one of the architect's first masterpieces, and was used as a reception area for the Spanish king and Queen. The pavilion itself was property of the German Weimar Republic.
