Santiago Calatrava's Pedestrian Bridge, Bilbao, Spain
Santiago Calatrava is a famous Spanish engineer/architect. His most prized projects, however, are bridges. Here in Bilbao I was able to experience for the first time a bridge that he had built (The Milwaukee Art Museum, which he designed, was the first building of his that I have seen). Although I didn't really like the Milwaukee Art Museum, I have to admit that this pedestrian bridge is a wonder of heavenly kind.
