Marseilles, Southern France

Marseilles was a much more exciting city than I thought it was, and joins, Paris, Rotterdam, Berlin, and Bilbao as my favorite European cities. There is certainly a feel that this the the older and French-equivalent of San Francisco, and the entire south as a "California" (especially taking Cannes in to consideration).
